I couldn't find any of the old news threads, so... Rob Zombie will make an appearance at Fangoria's Weekend Of Horrors on Saturday, May 19 at Burbank Airport Marriott (2500 Hollywood Way) in Burbank, California. Zombie will discuss his latest film, an adaptation of the horror classic "Halloween", and the upcoming WHITE ZOMBIE box set. Also appearing over the three-day Weekend of Horrors (May 18-20) will be punk rock icon Henry Rollins, Michael Madsen ("Reservoir Dogs"), Doug Bradley (Pinhead), Fred "The Hammer" Williamson and many more.
Rob Zombie's upcoming remake of the 1978 horror classic "Halloween", which stars Malcolm McDowell of "A Clockwork Orange" as Dr. Loomis and "X-Men" mutant Tyler Mane as the adult version of Myers, opens on August 31.
The first trailer for the film hit Yahoo! Movies last month.
Zombie's previous films were 2003's "House of 1000 Corpses" and 2005's "The Devil's Rejects".
Meanwhile, Zombie's first-ever live album is scheduled for release in August. The CD was recorded at several shows on last year's "Educated Horses" tour and will include a 36-page deluxe booklet of never-before-seen live pictures plus a DVD.The trailer for Halloween looked pretty cool! And can't wait for the live Zombie album.

Groan! Rob Zombie or not, having yet another classic horror film remade is still damn annoying.
