Well, I'm back all. Still kinda tired from all the traveling, but finally came back from vacation.

I had a better time with my Mom's side of the family, they have members closer to my age. My oldest sister tends to spend a lot of time with one of our cousins, they have a lot in common while me and my youngest sister tend to spend time with his younger sisters as I'm getting them all into my form of entertainment. Haven't shown them anything that violent (most graphic one so far was Final Destination 2) so I know which ones they can and can't see, but they have fun and that's the most important part. They tend to be big sports fans so I had to do something to keep and interested, and luckily I can corrupt them with my films. Another one of my cousins I can get along with most of the time, and is the one with the same musical tastes as me (he was the one who gave me all the CDs I mentioned yesterday) so it's not just me hanging out with two younger girls.
We spent three days with them, as they all tend to live in close proximity to each other and we can travel back and forth to their houses without much worry. We then left early on day 4 (that's Saturday if you're keeping track) and arrived at the first of our Father's side of the family that night.
I don't really like spending a lot of time with this side of the family, there's a huge generational gap between everyone. I'm 22, my sisters are 19 going on 20 and 14, and the next closest person in age on this side of the family is 38. I don't count the glutton of children under 5 as that's a larger number than I care to remember, so there's not a whole lot I can talk about on that side. It's fun to see family but not when all they talk to me about is when I'm going to start one myself.
The only fun part was the Fourth, as they tended to shoot off a large amount of fireworks that I've never seen before, and subsequently found out that they were considered illegals where I come from (Roman Candles, mortars, firecrackers, bottle rockets and others of that type) so it was pretty fun. Spent the night there and traveled back home on the fifth and got in late that night.
All in all, a fine week off, if only I could've spent more time with my Mom's side.
