I'm afraid I have to take a short leave from here. Starting tomorrow, this month's Halloween marathons are so great with so much great viewing (and reviewing opportunities) that in order to get all the films in, I have to devote the rest of the time to viewing purposes. There's four days over the next week that have 5 movies or more on that are can't-miss films, so terribly sorry to leave.
Among the movies being offered: The Crazies, Vampyros Lesbos, She Killed in Ecstacy, Pumpkinhead 3, Frankenstein Meets the Wolfman, House of Dracula, House of Frankenstein, The House that Dripped Blood, and much more.
I'll see you all in November, and I hope you all have a fun and safe Halloween.

Vampyros Lesbos! Cool!
Waiting to hear your thoughts on this - and all the rest.

Man, I don't think I have time to watch that many movies in 10 weeks, let alone ten days! Definitely take advantage of your free time before you're married and have kids. Nice to see several classics mixed in there.

"It's not as terrible as it's been said, but there's some fun to be had with it" - and it's from the review of Exorcist II: The Heretic!!! You got guts, slayrrr... And seriously: that's what I think of the film, too - it was heavily criticised because it's so very different from the famous part I; but I was entertained and spooked by it, dammit!
A nice orgy there, man. And, well, what Heineken said...

Well, thanks Bart. I really enjoyed myself with it. Yes, it's cheesy but it was fun, and with my tendecies toward cheese, I think it was inevitable I would find somethings to like about it. Did you read the Vampyros review, I think you said something about wanting to know my thoughts on it.
And don't forget, there's six more I watched that aren't on there: five that still need to be approved by IMDb, and the one I won't write a review for, The Crazies, which wasn't all that good and had a hard time finding horror elements in it.

Yeah, sure - I've read your take on Vapyros L. Encouraging, if I may say so - I haven't yet seen the movie myself.

Have to dig this one out, even though it has nothing to do with Halloween. This Tuesday, after I check in here, I'll be leaving for a short, week-long trip to visit the family It's our 4th of July tradition (which I did last year but can't find the stupid thread for so I'm using this one) and we'll be spending time with both sides of the family, which is why we're going away for so long. We'll be leaving Tuesday afternoon and be back the following Thursday, so I may check in then or on the fifth, so I'll be here again tomorrow and Tuesday, and then I'll be gone for awhile. See you all then, have a safe, happy and patriotic 4th, and enjoy yourselves!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
