My sis's friend downloaded every CP virus known to man! Believe me, not something ya want to come home to after a hard days work. Whats new?
Recently upgraded to a SXRD Sony set (1920x1080) & have been having trouble with finding one that works. The first one had a green tint across the entire picture so I traded that in for a Samsung DLP tv set. Everything looked good on that until I noticed the rainbow effect. So took it back for the same Sony, only this time, I now have a tilt issue. Learned a bit on AVS forums how to fix it plus made use of one of my Widescreen Review Mags to tilt the set even further. The PQ is even now, but damn. Next week (fingers crossed) my cousin's co-worker will calibrate my set. He is a trained ISF tech, so all should be good.
Been watching a lot of high-def dvds & I am sorry to say that I can't go back to dvd. Some of these HD DVDs are combos meaning both HD & SD are on 1 disc. An easy way to make comparisons between dvd & high-def. Sinse I got my PC up & running I was behind quite a bit on HD news. I update the release schedual almost on a daily basis on 2 other internet forums. DvDFile & The Digital Bits so when I am not at work, there is work to be done on that. I started a thread here, but don't know wether or not to keep it up to date. Both HD & BD will hit everywhere in europe soon & may or may not take off. Digitally Obsessed, why yes I am. Will update the HD Ratings thread. You might be surprised at some of the films that look best in HD.
I think some folks thinks if the movie is a massive blockbuster, it'll look & sound "perfect" on HD right? Nope.
Anyways wanted to check in & say hello to everyone sinse my CP burnout. So Hey all!
