Most people think sequels will never live up to the originals. Well...
10 "Home Alone" Movies 8 "Hellraiser" Movies 6 "Star Wars" Movies 6 "Spider-man" movies supposedly coming out 6 "Rocky" Movies including the one that's coming up 5 "Scary Movie"s becasue there is a fifth coming out in 2008 4 "Jaws" Movies 4 "Jurassic Park" Movies because there is a fifth coming out in 2008

How about the Land Before Time and Beethoven? Talk about movies that don't end. Does anyone actually BUY those movies?
Also, TEN Home Alone movies? Last I checked, they stopped at part 3... and counting that one is a hell of a long shot.

There are only 3 Jurassic Park movies. Hence the special trilogy that was released just in time for Christmas last year.
The Spider-Man movies will continue to be good so long as Sam Raimi still wants to do them. And from what I've heard, talks only go up to four so far. Although Raimi has expressed interest in doing 6.
I think the bigger poison these days isn't sequels anymore, it's remakes.
Dawn of the Dead Night of the Living Dead Texas Chainsaw Massacre The Longest Yard Fun with Dick and Jane Creepshow (planned) The Fly (2006/7 planned) The Hills Have Eyes Let's face it, The Ring Let's face it II, Dark Water Let's face it III, Insomnia (with Al Pacino) Assault on Precinct 13 War of the Worlds The Omen Piranha House of Wax Planet of the Apes Evil Dead (Planned) The Haunting The House on Haunted Hill ....... and on and on and on....
Let's not forget the new fad of porting video game and comic book stories straight to the big screen in desperation to make a buck, regardless of the fact that video game based films are almost always guaranteed to be crappy.
