16 Blocks
A return to form for Richard Donner. As good as writing can get for a PG-13 action movie, GREAT acting on behalf of both Bruce Willis and Mos Def, and a good amount of thrills make this movie well worth watching.

Dave Chappelle's Block Party
This is NOT a stand-up comedy movie. It is a concert movie put together by Dave Chappelle. The movie is funny as Hell when it tries to be, and the music's good, too. I enjoyed watching the Fugees perform again, after they've been apart for so long. Check this out for some good hip hop, R&B and a little bit of the comedic stylings of Dave Chappelle.

Why not just give Ultraviolet it's own thread, then?

Yeah, I agree - this thread can be easily broken into two.
I'm interested in seeing Ultraviolet anyway 'cause - remember? - I liked Equilibrium a lot but I am sad to hear all the bad, bad things about it. Well... at least the new Donner film should work alright.
