THE ROCK THE ROCK or CON-AIR? (This was about the time that Nicolas Cage started squandering his Oscar win for LEAVING LAS VEGAS with action movies.)

Con Air-The greatest action film of the 90s. Man, that was a classic film.

No argument, DIE HARD.
UNDER SIEGE was pretty goood, but it was one of the many DIE HARD-influenced films that followed in the wake of the original. (See also, SPEED, CLIFFHANGER, PASSENGER 57, and many others.)
DIE HARD or LETHAL WEAPON?

Godzilla King of the Monsters (American version) or Gojira (Japanese Version)?

Godzilla, the American version. Easier to get into, a lot more fun to watch, and perhaps one of the best editing jobs in history. Turning a film from one distinct style into a completely different one without loosing anything important in the process. Plus, it's the version responsible for his popularity. This version isn't any good, no one outside of Japan would be as fanatical about him. Gojira is the better-made film in all technical areas, and it's socially conscious topics and themes make it rise above just about every other entry in the genre.
Godzilla (1956) or King Kong (1933)
