Elektra was mediocre, not terrible. And the fact that they put the Devil's Rejects on there just takes away any credibility they might have had.

I haven't see any of the movies on that list. Know what? Don't really feel like I'm missing anything.

REAL worst movies list for 2005:
10. The Ring Two 9. The Cave 8. Doom 7. The Pacifier 6. The Wedding Date 5. Alone in the Dark 4. Rebound 3. Are We There Yet? 2. The Honeymooners 1. Son of the Mask
I've actually been avoiding some films this year (the top 4 are movies I've had the misfortune of having to watch portions of). The films I have avoided are as follows:
Aeon Flux - Trailers left me cold; most of the cast look too good for this movie.
Cheaper by the Dozen 2 - What made them think anyone wanted to see the second one?
Yours, Mine and Ours - I'll take the Lucille Ball version over this crap any day.

I read your list twice and still couldn't believe you didn't put History of Violence on there!! Ha ha!! (just kiddin' man) House of Wax definetly deserves that #10 spot. It wasn't bad, but it should've been a helluva lot better. Figured Doom would be one of the worst... I didn't see enough movies to rate them there, I guess. On to the "top 10 movies...."

As always Smitty, you're awesome. I only saw The Ring Two (complete shit) but I can probably agree everything on your list would have made my bottom five if I had actually seen them. They all sounded HORRIBLE and I'm glad I skipped Doom.

The only one I've seen from the list is The Pacifier, but it was Vin, so, ya know... It had it's funny moments. I really haven't seen enough movies this year to be able to make a list. Was Doom really that bad? The only reason I was gonna go see it was b/c Rock was in it. Guess I'll catch it when it comes to dvd.

Even Slayrrr didn't have anything nice to say about it!! Seek out the thread in Review Hell.

Son of the Mask A good list, I think - I only saw The Ring Two and The Cave. Gotta disagree with the latter one - in my opinion this was a quite enjoyable flick with some good special effects, interesting plot, good acting (especially from Cole Hauser and Lena Headey) and fitting soundtrack. 6/10 Haven't seen any film from the original list posted by Livingdeadgirl (only first ten minutes of Miss Congeniality 2 which inspired me to switch it off), so I gather this is a good list, too.

Miss Congeniality 2 was another one I somehow successfully avoided. Even when I had to walk in there, it was somewhat easy to tune out.
Another movie I'm avoiding is In the Mix, which I've heard was all kinds of terrible.
But one universally bashed film that I have seen, I have actually liked. Get Rich or Die Tryin'. That was an underrated picture. I'm not a 50 Cent fan (in fact, his music is annoying as fuck), but Jim Sheridan's direction was spot on.

I don't care to see or own; The Pacifier The Honeymooners A Sound of Thunder Son of the Mask ..& I own the other ones on that list.

Sound of Thunder... that was another one I avoided. Although now I wish I had seen it, after hearing of its MST3K-worthiness.
