I started The Board.
Okay.
Maybe I exaggerated that just a little bit...

I started The Board but I guess I wouldn't have if Heineken hadn't agreed to help me with it; with him I knew this must work well. Then frankenjohn and Livingdeadgirl joined and things started to go smooth.
The Board looked funny with just two threads, though, at the very start.

When I joined, Heineken, frankenjohn, & Livingdeadgirl were already kicking ass in the post count & of course Bart. ;D I've explored other forums & this is the only one that is still growing & has more interesting topics. Kudos to the Q-man for bringing the "Review Hell" to life & for making movie reviews easier to find. Alls we need now is some recruits to go get mo members.

If you want a copy of my low budget movie let me know. I probably can give up a couple.

I'm always up for free stuff. Especially movies.
Hey, if you need some graphic design work done, let me know. I could use the work!

Actually I was seeing if the Main Board guys wanted one. They have first dibs at the two of them, if not, then I can send out a couple to the others who might want a copy. I will need your addresses.
I'll read the posts later on today.
thanks

Let us know if you've got some freebies left over after Bart and his Chief of Staff get theirs.

Bart, you flatter me. I always thought that by the time I came along, The Board, or Cornucopia of Cool Stuff, as it was known back then, was pretty much up and running.
Q, am I the Chief of Staff? ;D If possible, I'd love to see a copy, Marcel. I'd gladly forward it to other members of The Board who want to watch it afterwards, so we can all see it and have a more rounded discussion about it.
If one's available PM me and I'll PM you back my address. I'm not sure what country you're in, but I hope the DVD is in Region 1 or 0 otherwise I won't be able to play it. Either way, congrats on finishing the film.

Say, while we're on the subject of drawing attention to oneself and one's artistic works (no offense Marcel, I know that part of filmmaking is the fine art of plugging one's own work!), anyone want to head over to the Cool Pictures thread below this and tell me if my "art" sucks or not? I need to know if I should avoid doing that kind of picture again.

I like your skulls more than anything, Q. My favorite is the Cyclopean Demon design, but the Light of Death and Spider ones are pretty cool as well. There's some good stuff elsewhere, but those are the ones that I really liked. I wouldn't mind seeing more Arthropods as well, it seems like it could have more than what is there.

The Arthropods are immensly time-consuming, the next one I'd sketched out would be a woodtick. Also planned (eventually...) are: Japanese Giant Hornet, Sydney Funnel Web Spider, Botfly. My wife fucking hates, like you wouldn't believe, botflies. That's like a dirty word to her. Botfly. So what if it's maggot lives parasitically inside living tissue including humans? I'd also considered a Praying Mantis, giant centipede, and Scorpion. So much for pretty bugs...
