And some movies simply do not stand the test of time. Like Howard the Duck. The more you grow up, the more it sucks. I never recalled it being good in the first place. And some people knew better to begin with. I was a pretty niave child.

Disappointments:
Napoleon Dynamite[b/]-Guess I just don't get that particular brand of comedy. The only thing I found remotely amusing was Uncle Rico.
Bad Santa- I was expecting more from Billy Bob...
Worst Movies:
House of the Dead-Enough said...
More later...

I hated "Bad Santa." Loved "Napoleon Dynamite," though.

I laughed quite hard at BAD SANTA. NAPOLEON DYNAMITE? Not so much.

I loved both those movies.
Napoleon Dynamite I saw before MTV's grueling talk-it-up-unbelievably campaign, and I saw it with my friends. Maybe it's meant to be watched with your friends... when you're not expecting much.
Bad Santa was great. I don't care what anyone else says, that was a great Christmas comedy.

The most recent film I watched (thankfully don't own) & hated is Fat Albert. Napoleon Dynamite was a disappointment to me in only 1 sense. I saw the trailer before the film. It is funny but be warned, if you have seen the trailer, don't bother with the film. Bad Santa This movie is above & beyond great. So many happy go lucky comedies the past few years make me sick. This was a breath of comedic air!
