We all have done countless threads about all our countless film favorites.
I would like to see everybody's lists of their personal worst films lists and biggest disappointments lists. You don't need to do both and can do as many as you want, or one list combining them all if you want. You can even confine it to only recent films if you want.
Here's mine:
Biggest Disappointments:
1. AVP 2. Watchers 3. Saw 4. Malevolence 5. Jeepers Creepers 6. Man with the Screaming Brain 7. Boogeyman (Sam Raimi produced? What the hell!) 8. Texas Chainsaw Massacre II 9. Underworld/Dracula 2000 10. Mimic/The Relic
Worst Movies:
1. Troll 2/Manos: The Hands of Fate 2. Amityville 4, Howling III, Blood Lake/Carnivore 3. House of the Dead (crappy, but funny) 4. AVP 5. Saw 6. Watchers 7. Mimic 8. Moulin Roughe 9. They/feardotcom/Fear X/Darkness Falls 10. Texas Chainsaw Massacre II/Next Generation
All this stuff is pretty much crap. Some of it is so bad it actually makes me angry.

I like Moulin Rouge!!
Anyways, yeah, biggest disappointments/crappy film for me would be...Napolean Dynamite and The Passion of the Christ. Yeah, that's all I can think of right now. More later.

Finally, someone else on here that didn't like Mimic!! I forgot about Alien Resurrection.... See what happens when you spend your life watching crappy horror movies? Eventually, you find some you don't like. Mimic was alright, but the advertising built it up as this great creature flick, and then it was more about Mira and her husband. A bit of a let down from the marketing promotion. That's why I put it there.

A bit of a let down from the marketing promotion. That's why I put it there. I hated the "everyone survives even the people in the middle of the giant explosion happy happy" ending. I was pissed. That's done too much these days, like in the remake of 13 Ghosts. Putrid. That black woman was right in the middle of the explosion and she survived to the end to keep making same minority-driven asinine "comic-relief" banter that we see all-too-often these day. "Hey, let's get a black guy for our movie--but he can be the one that's too cool for the movie and he just makes comic relief remarks all through the damn thing! Yeah! And let's make him a stereotype!!! Sick.

That was another reason. That was just so stupid and insulting that the film-makers thought that up that I haven't seen anything that the director has done since. I've boycotted his films because of this, and that sad, because I wanted this film to be the re-birth of a new era of killer creature films to end that Scream craze, and then I saw that ending and hung my head in shame that it would never happen. Well, the Scream craze did die off, but not because of Mimic, which I was hoping it would do.

I've seen lots of B-films that are probably worse than some of these, but I'm gonna keep it to bigger movies that most people have heard of. It's too easy to pick on low budget or B-movies. Also, these aren't in any kind of order.
BIGGEST DISAPPOINTMENTS (Films I was actually eager to see.): 1. GODZILLA (1998) 2. BATMAN & ROBIN (1997) 3. THE ENGLISH PATIENT (1996) 4. THE FIFTH ELEMENT (1997) 5. INDEPENDENCE DAY (1996) 6. KING KONG (1976) 7. THE THIN RED LINE (1998) 8. ARMAGEDDON (1998) 9. STAR TREK: THE MOTION PICTURE (1979) 10. ALIEN VS. PREDATOR (2004)
WORST FILMS (Films I happened to see, but they ended up being complete wastes of time.): 1. EXORCIST II: THE HERETIC (1977) 2. THE BLUE LAGOON (1980) 3. HERCULES IN NEW YORK (1970) 4. MONKEY BONE (2001) 5. THE TUXEDO (2002) 6. CATWOMAN (2004) 7. LARA CROFT: TOMB RAIDER (2001) 8. VAN HELSING (2004) 9. KRUSH GROOVE (1985) 10. OSMOSIS JONES (2001)

So I guess I'm the only one here who actually liked EXORCIST II.
Alright...

Okay, guys, hate on me more, but I prefer the remake of King Kong from 76 to the original, mainly because it was more action-packed and the Kong look is far better, IMHO.

So I guess I'm the only one here who actually liked EXORCIST II. Alright... I recall liking Exorcist II, but I'll admit... It has been a really looooooooonnngggggg time since I've seen it... And some movies simply do not stand the test of time. Like Howard the Duck. The more you grow up, the more it sucks.

I think I forgot to add this: Both are excellent films, I just like watching a more action-packed film, and the remake is more action-packed. I can't help it, but that Kong design, especially that white on his face when he gets really pissed off at the crew when he's at the wall surrounding the village, is a truly demonic look to him, and it also suits the suitmation techniques I grew up with watching Godzilla movies. It's not a far and away favorite, but I like it a little more.
