Let's talk about the trailers and their entertainment/encouragement value, shall we?
The last ones I saw - at the screenings of Exorcist: The Beginning and Melinda And Melinda - were...
Batman Begins: a nice one but it didn't blew me away; good to see Liam Neeson and Christian Bale in fine form but it's 6/10 for me. Still have to decide if I'll go to see this film on the big screen.
War Of The Worlds: not much here (people staring at the burning horizon only to see the names CRUISE and SPIELBERG float onto the sky) but it does look business already! 8/10
Sin City: THIS, however, is a real winner! Haven't seen such a good trailer for a long time - stylish, powerful and so damn fresh! I start believing Bruce Willis saying "When you see Sin City for the first time it will be like when you saw Star Wars when they first screened it". I do! 10/10

Sin City is my current favorite trailor right now too Bart. The music, the style, the actors...all together without giving too much away.
I did see the long version of the War of the Worlds preview before seeing Ring 2 and it looked like your typical alien invasion film - I'm hoping the special effects though (which they don't show you much of) are fantastic.

Sin City is also my choice....best one I've seen in a long time.

Sin City - Nothing I can say about this one that hasn't already been said.
Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith - I wasn't expecting so much before, but if this isn't the best one of the series, I, for one, will be pissed.
Batman Begins - Movie's gonna be great, but the trailer could be better. I'm hoping that the current one is just a teaser.
Kingdom of Heaven - When you go out to see movies as much as I do, certain trailers play before every movie you see. THIS IS ONE OF THEM. God, I can recite by memory Orlando Bloom's speech in the beginning of this thing. But damn if that isn't one nice trailer.

Nice to see I'm not the only one totally impressed by the Sin City trailer. Genius!
Yesterday, when I went to see Constantine, I also saw the trailers for...
Kingdom Of Heaven: good-looking, sure, but I expected more; I hope the movie will get some two points more than the trailer. 6/10
Sahara: now, that's refreshing! An unpretentious adventure movie in the vein of Indy that may finally make Matthew MacConnaughey a cool actor! And Steve Zahn as a comedic sidekick? Sounds - and looks - more than good to me! 7/10

I've gotta agree that the SIN CITY trailer is Aces! But my current favorite trailer is the one for STAR WARS: EPISODE III - REVENGE OF THE SITH. My god, does that trailer rock! Emperor Palpatine finally reveals himself to the Jedi. Snippets of some kick ass battles. Full blown space battles and one on one combat. A glimpse of the lightsaber battle to end all lightsaber battles between Anakin & Obi-Wan. And of course that last shot of the Emperor with none other than Darth Vader at his side. Ooh, goose bumps. ;D

I finally saw the new trailer for SW and have to agree w/Heineken. It's awesome! The battle scenes snippits leave me wanting more.

Bart, or anyone else, to see the SITH trailer, click here: starwars.com/Then click on "Trailers", of course. It's in Quicktime.

I just saw it the other day & man, gave me the shivers! Can't wait! On a side note...for SW toy collectors...I got in some of the new figures & playsets where I work & they look pretty awesome. They're street-dated for April 2nd though so I can't put them out yet. And people are already begging for them.

This week I'm going to see Ring 2 at the theatre and I hope I'll finally catch the trailer then - big screen's big screen, after all - but if it doesn't happen, I'll definitely go straight to my comp and use the link.

Yeah, that Star Wars trailer was the one I've been waiting for this year. Not sure, but didn't EP 1 & II have more than one full legth trailer before them films appeared on the big screen?

No good: I almost forgot about this thread.
Here's a bunch of trailers I saw lately:
Elizabethtown - the film may be good but the trailer is just so-so (4/10)
Lord Of War - looks surprisingly good though the presence of Bridget Moynahan is not emphasized enough, I think: just Cage, Cage, Cage and a bit of Leto (6,5/10)
Broken Flowers - the trailer doesn't tell us if the movie is good or boring (50/50 with Jarmusch), but doesn't look bad either (5/10)
Domino - nice, but I think two hours of such crazy colours and editing may make many heads ache (6/10)
The Brothers Grimm - pretty! (8/10)
Flightplan - this may end up rather sill but the trailer's fine (7/10)
The Legend Of Zorro - some bad CG f/x here and there but it still looks fun (6/10)
The New World - come on: this looks VERY boring! (2/10)
Transporter 2 - cool and guilty (6/10)
The Revolver - Guy Ritchie comes back to form, you can see it already! (8/10)
The Proposition - hate such dull trailers, sorry (2/10)
Harry Potter And The Goblet Of Fire - not too good, at least for me it isn't (3/10)
The Weather Man - okay, looks funny enough (6/10)
The Chronicles Of Narnia - a watered-down version of LOTR, just what you may have expected; good for kids probably, not for me (4/10)
V For Vendetta - fine, sure, but I expected more than just bald Natalie and several handsome effects.

The Harry Potter trailer is still only in teaser form still. I think that this movie had the potential of being the best one of all the films, because the book was so loaded with visuals. I'm skeptical of Mike Newell however.
The Exorcism of Emily Rose had a really good trailer, even if did have some wince-inducing lines ("There's no cure for the devil"), but I still think it was really well put together. I haven't seen the movie, but audiences seem to think it's pretty good while critics are like, "CRAP!"
The Brokeback Mountain trailer, which I just saw looks interesting. The movie actually reminds me of that one South Park episode where the film festival comes to South Park and all the movies are about gay cowboys eating Jello or something like that. It might be a good movie, I don't know, I like Ang Lee.
But one of the better ones I saw was for the new George Clooney film: Good Night, and Good Luck. That looks interesting.
