Hey, I figured this might be a fun thread for all. For you all to expose your weirdness!!
Simply explain how/where/why you came up with that username you've got. This is kind of a "get to know your fellow posters" thread--even if you're name is kind of obvious.
"Quorthon" is the name adopted by the founder of the first Black Metal (and also, first Viking Metal) band, Bathory. He was a pure musical genius, and his skill and presence are sorely missed in this world. (Died last June--heart failure) I didn't start listening to Bathory until after the real Quorthon's death--as I was not huge into Black Metal at the time, and I'm regaining lost ground now.

It's my screen name on The Video Graveyard and I got it because I was trying to think of a user name horror oriented when I signed up at that board.

I really like James Cameron's Terminator flick, the 1984 version. To date, I don't think I've watched another film more times than that one. I put ation instead of ator at the end, just for a little originality. Um yeah, thats it.

"Heineken Skywalker" just sounded better than "Beer & Star Wars". Heineken sounds like Anakin. Yeah, that's pretty much it. No one said we had to be real "deep" when creating these names. ;D

My last name is Edlefsen. I was in a rock and rock band and one of the guys started calling me Dr. Shredlefsen because I could really shred. O.K., sort of shred. Anyway, it got shortened to Dr. Shred and Voila!

I think mine's pretty self-explanatory. White Zombie/Rob Zombie fan,one of my favorite songs of his. Actually, I thought it was inspired by the movie - The Living Dead Girl. Mine is just the first name - Bart - with the "wald" ending added to make it sound "medieval"... or so I thought.

Actually, I thought it was inspired by the movie - The Living Dead Girl. I've never seen, or heard of that movie, actually. Sounds interesting though...

spacer - while almost everybody else has his/her nickname connected with horror themes my nick is associated with my favourite book& movie branch Science Fiction.
The actual name is borrowed from Asimov's Foundation saga where spacers are people who first left Earth, colonized other habitable planets and had much more advanced technology than Earthlings. They loved space contrary to people on Earth where everybody lived or rather continue living in cramped mammoth cities and where all were scared to death to leave the closed city and go outside.
It is also my dream to go outside Earth and experience a bit of a star trek. ;D

Oh, alright... I always wondered whether it's the above or the Polish meaning of "spacer". Which is "a walk"... ahh, okay - the latter wouldn't make much sense, would it?
