Found out today that Ossie Davis died in a hotel room the other night. He was the best JFK I've ever seen. And that dashes the thought he might make it into "Bubba Nosferatu." What a shame.

Never seen Bubba Ho-tep, eh Skywalker? Do I hear the Movie Police? You guys crack me up with some of the stuff that you think is Movie Police worthy. I'm interested in seeing it, but let's face it. It's a cult B-movie that's been out less than a year. I'm pretty sure I'm safe from the Movie Police for that one. ;D

It feels like an A Movie that was too good for Hollywood. Which it was!

Er, no offense, but you haven't seen THE GODFATHER yet, right? That's certainly not a B-movie and it's definitely been out more than a year. Okay, it's been out over a year. And it doesn't feel like a B-movie. I only refer to it as a B-movie because it's a low budget flick that didn't get a wide release and stars the king of B-movies, Bruce Campbell. B-movie isn't neccesarily an insult. BUBBA HO-TEP = not Movie Police worthy. Doesn't mean = not good.

But Bubba Ho-Tep is more than a normal B-movie. To me it wasn't B, it was simply an Independant flick. Like "The Machinist." To me, "Independent Films" and "B-Movies" are different things. Because classifying stuff is fun.
