It's been snowing here almost constantly for the last 3 days. On Tuesday or Wednesday, I woke up to 6 fresh inches of the white stuff. It's still snowing right now. And it's supposed to snow straight through tomorrow, too.
I don't think we got this much all last winter!! We've had some dry winters the last several years.

Yeah, my brother called the other day & said it was snowing up there. He & the kids were out playing in it. I told him to bring some of it down here when they come for christmas. ;D We had some ice last week but no snow. Typical... |

This weekend was a REALLY bad football weekend for me....the Chiefs lost, the Colts lost today (there goes the undefeated season...), maybe the Bears will beat the Falcons tonite so it won't be a total loss.

I almost met Mr. Death on the road yesterday... All the snow and ice caused many cars to go in circles on a highway - mine was one of them. It ended with a killed headlight only, but could have as well been fatal - thankfully I wasn't driving fast.
I'm the more glad to still be here with you, guys.

I almost met Mr. Death on the road yesterday... All the snow and ice caused many cars to go in circles on a highway - mine was one of them. It ended with a killed headlight only, but could have as well been fatal - thankfully I wasn't driving fast. I'm the more glad to still be here with you, guys. If I don't hurry up and get those new tires on my truck, I'll be joining you in the highway ballet! |

spacer - we were together, yeah. And it happened near Skoczow, on the Katowice - Wisla road. Was totally crazy weather that day, I tell you! And Quorth - I had my tyres changed shortly before the accident - they help shit when you're on ice...

My dad was killed in an accident 3 years ago, so since then I've been even MORE paranoid about driving than I already was. |

I'm very sorry to hear this, too, Livingdeadgirl. Driving cars is dangerous enough without snow and ice - and in the winter conditions it's just hell.
