I never watch Part I, without watching Part II soon after. And sometimes I'll even watch Part III afterwards. Brave! I never watched The Godfathers back to back, actually. I wanted to do that this time - on DVD - but I never have enough time to do that; however, as I just re-watched Part I and will soon re-watch Part II, I guess I'll be kind of courageous myself and will watch The Andy Garcia Episode afterwards, too. In fact, I think it has a pretty good beginning, Part III... but then, well...

My friends and I actually watched Parts I & II on video first as a warm up to going to the theater later that evening to see Part III when it first premiered. I don't usually watch them all in a row in one sitting though. I meant, maybe the next day I'll watch Part II. Those are three hour movies, man! And yeah, I know what you mean about Part III. There's just too much good stuff there too, for me to totally disregard it. Have any of you ever seen THE GODFATHER EPIC? It's a re-edited version of Parts I & II, where, instead of the jumping back and forth in time, of Part II, you first get all the scenes with DeNiro as young Vito Corleone, followed by Godfather I in it's entirety, followed by all of the Michael Corleone (Pacino) scenes from Part II, so you get to see the story in chronological order. I think it even includes a couple of extra scenes that didn't make it into the original versions, but it's been a long time since I saw it so don't quote me on that. It's pretty cool and I recommend it if you want a different way of seeing the story.

Haven't seen this. Sounds good, though.

Yep, I've seen it, and you're right, it does have a few scenes that weren't in the originals.
