Now you're going to hate me! And it's all because I loved xXx... GOOD THINGS: - Vin - lots of thrilling action - acceptable plot - energetic direction - tongue in cheek (most critics haven't noticed that) BAD THINGS: - underused Asia Argento (she was far sexier in her dad's films) I know, I know: most people may not perceive xXx as a controversial movie. But, you see, *I* do - and just can't agree with all the criticism it received.

Ah, yet another entry in Vin Diesel's filmography I haven't seen. Along with PITCH BLACK, CHRONICLES OF RIDDICK, THE FAST & THE FURIOUS, KNOCKAROUND GUYS & A MAN APART. Sorry, I just don't feel like I'm missing much. I understand that Ice Cube will be taking over for Vin in the xXx sequel. I'll probably miss that one as well.

So... you haven't seen any movie with Vin? I mean, that's not the Movie Police matter maybe, but the LDG Police is going to get ya for sure!

No, I've seen SAVING PRIVATE RYAN, in which he had a smalll supporting role, BOILER ROOM, which was pretty good and THE IRON GIANT, which featured Vin as the voice of the lead character. Yup, that's about it. And if the Movie Police were to try to get me for this, I would try not to giggle uncontrollably. ;D

Eh, you've seen nothing of Vin yet, Heineken. And remember I said that it is the LDG Police that's going to get ya; you won't have a split second for giggling when she knocks at your door, man!

Eh, she don't scare me. Let her come! (Looks around nervously, slams door shut, pulls down blinds.)

Sorry, Heineken, the only Vin Diesel flick I think you're missing out on is Pitch Black. Don't worry about the rest of them. (Yes, I found the Fast and the Furious to be quite overrated).

What do you think of xXx, Smitty? In my opinion it's much better than The Fast And The Furious (overrated, agree).

Well first off, A Man Apart was/is Vin's best acting performace I've seen out of all his films. xXx is worth a blind buy. Well actually far from it, but it is at least subject to 1 viewing.

I actually really like Vin Diesel.
I loved the idea and execution of multi-facial, he was really good in SPR, probably the only character in Boiler Room that you would sympathise with...
I havent seen the Iron Giant, so skip that.
PB and CoR I enjoyed for what they where. Good movies... As far as their standing as good films, well thats another question.
XXX was the one I hadnt ben overly excited about, however I did enjoy it. The first half is far better than the second however.
The fast and the furious was overated, but still enjoyable and somehow, despite the cheesyness... worked! And anyone who questions Vins ability to hold the screen should watch that cos in 2F2F we see the same movie without him and it... well... blows goats.
Ok... That leaves A man apart, which to me was a really good film. Although I am in a minorty with that point!
(Nods to Bart... I'll support you!)

(Nods to Bart... I'll support you!) Thanks for that! Haven't seen A Man Apart but Pitch Black and xXx I like more than a lot.
