Ok, I doubt anyone else in here has actually seen the movie, but I have. Twice. I have this to say.
IT IS NOT A BAD MOVIE.
At worst, it was only mediocre.
Acting-wise, direction-wise, there was absolutely nothing wrong with Gigli. Screenwriting was a little sloppy, but definitely something we can live with.
Gigli didn't deserve all the negative buzz it received, and we all know why Gigli received it; the media-whoring Bennifer. That's about it.
I actually kinda liked it. There were some pretty funny lines in it, the delivery was nice, etc. I don't see everyone's problem; I've seen much, much worse.
Oh, and it's better than Open Water. That's for damn sure.

Ok, I doubt anyone else in here has actually seen the movie... I doubt it, too. And yours is the first okay opinion about this movie I have ever heard, Smitty.

Gee, I liked it. Naaah... I'm just kidding. I actually have not seen this one. Hard to believe, huh? I know that Smitty loves critics, so take a gander at these: www.rottentomatoes.com/m/gigli/A 7% Rotten rating. 139 "Rotten" reviews out of 149. Man, it's pretty hard to argue with those kind of numbers. Oh, and Bart? There were actually ten positive reviews in that batch, so Smitty is not the first to say it was "okay". He's the eleventh. I will see this eventually because curiosity will get the best of me. I won't rent it and I won't go out of my way to see it, but one day, if it shows up on HBO or someone loans me their DVD, I'll check it out. And if I honestly don't think it's the train wreck that almost every critic called it, I'll say so. But I'm not real optimistic. By comparison, VAN HELSING got a 23% Rotten rating, and I thought that one was pretty lousy.
