I would've put FAST TIMES AT RIDGEMONT HIGH at #1. That movie is "Awesome! Totally awesome!!" ;D
I would've put BREAKFAST CLUB in the top ten as well.
And what about FERRIS BUELLER'S DAY OFF?? Totally snubbed!
Some other good High School movies:
RISKY BUSINESS STAND & DELIVER ELECTION LEAN ON ME TO SIR, WITH LOVE PEGGY SUE GOT MARRIED

I usually don't value those high school movies much. I mean: I watch them - how could I not? - but they're most often forgettable fluff. However, no Ferris Bueller on the list is a bit shocking. Election was pretty good, too. The first American Pie? Yeah, maybe.
Still haven't seen Heathers.

Still haven't seen Heathers. Oh you should cause it is my fave in this high school top ten ;D Excellent dialogues and Slater's performance. Especially I liked this kind of black humour like " purportedly fake bullits called 'Ich luge' - Bart you know German, by the way? ;D I loved also the scene of the funeral when the killed brainless athletes were given the last service (previously I wrote in detail about it but now I decided to delete it in case you were willing to watch it in order not to spoil your fun). Winona Ryder was great too, Shannen Doherty not as much but still she acted well too. It was definitely a weird flick with an intriguing plot. I enjoyed it. Hell of a good flick.
