A fairly recent DVD release that I acquired about a month ago is a neo-classical-silent-film treatment of Lovecraft's The Call of Cthulhu. The film is dated from, as I recall, 2007, and is a modern black-and-white silent film--crafted as if it was made at the time the story was published in the 1920's.

I was preparing a review for it, but seem to have left it on my laptop which is currently not connected to the internet. I'll have to see how far I got in that and post it up.
