Ok this the thread to recommend any titles for anyone to watch, who needs a recommendation.
Alrighty then.
I need a recommendation. I don't care what genre of flick it is. It does have to already be released on video (my only request) I'm open to any suggestions you might think you would be interested in seeing too. So can ya please recommend a film for me, I'm dying over here & it ain't just the heat. ;D

You should check out the "Just Watched..." thread. People usually post a comment or two along with what they watched. You'd probably get some good ideas there.

Ahh, thank you LDG, it is a great movie & one I havn't seen in awhile. Heineken, I thought about that, but felt it better if people recomended films in random order, not just what they've just watched. If that makes any sense.

Ahh, thank you LDG, it is a great movie & one I havn't seen in awhile. It's one of those movies that I could watch over and over. I think I've watched it about 4 times this month...whenever's it's been on HBO. Have you seen Ghost Dog:The Way of the Samurai? Good movie..very mellow and atmospheric. Also some very funny scenes w/ the mafia guys.

Nope, havn't seen that film before, will have to check it out sometime. I remember seeing the cover of the dvd awhile back & thought, hey! Forest Whitaker, he's made some decent films.

Forest Whitaker, he's made some decent films. Yes, he has...and he's very good in Ghostdog too. When my brother first told me I needed to watch it I figured I wouldn't like it. Watched it anyway just for the hell of it & ended up loving it.

A wonderful romantic-comedy is "Much Ado About Nothing." Very amusing and funny.

I liked Much Ado as well. Saw Ghost Dog two times already and somehow can't get into it 100% - the humour there is rather weird, isn't it? When I saw it for the first time at the theatre the audience was not sure at which points they should laugh, actually.
My recommendation for today: Kentucky Fried Movie. A comedy crazy and funny as hell! From the makers of Airplane! too.

How about A HARD DAY'S NIGHT, from the Beatles? Great, fun film.

Damn, thats a whole lot there Smitty, not that there's anything wrong with that. Will def check some of those titles out in due time. Thought I'd recommend a film that I thought was excecuted very well. Good acting, kinda slow but hey, thats what Drama is. The Woodsman I don't know how well known this picture is. It was made last year & stars Kevin Bacon.
