I saw this last night, and I gotta say it's simply not as bad as everyone (including myself) said it was. Granted, for the most part, it was stupid. In fact, too stupid for my tastes. But Bob Saget... my friends told me about that scene, I anticipated that scene, and I STILL laughed my ass off, because my friends failed to do Bob Saget justice. But other than that, it just depends on how much stupidity your sense of humor can handle.

Damn! I still haven't seen this one!
I mean to but it hasn't arrived here yet. I'll come back here as soon as I finally rent it, that's for sure. The Bob Saget thing makes me even more curious about it.

A good friend of mine told me that he was recently at the video store with this DVD in his hand ready to rent it. He walks up to the counter and the owner of the video store who was working behind the counter that day, talked him out of renting it. The OWNER of the store told him NOT to rent it! Basically, he was saying, "Keep your money, I don't want it. I cannot in good consciousness rent this movie to you." Just thought I'd share that story. Do with this info what you will.

Well, I wouldn't spend money on it. I said it's worth WATCHING, not worth spending money on. As for myself, I saw it on TV.

Happened to me recently as well. Not with Dumb And Dumberer, though - it was Le Divorce (I'm a Naomi Watts completist, you know... ) and the clerk talking me out of it was so convincing that I actually rented something else instead. Is it some kind of marketing trick, do you think ('You can trust our clerks not to fool you, folks!') or just unexpected honesty? By the way: I still haven't seen D&D. But I will.

And so I saw this eventually.
Struggled a bit to choose the correct answer there in the poll and decided that simple "No" will be fair. It's watered down in comparison with the original, doesn't have a fraction of its laughs and the plot is shockingly cliched and predictable. The actors do alright but can they match Carrey & Daniels? You probably know the answer to this. The Bob Saget part IS one of the best ones in the film but can't save it.
An average comedy at best but I've seen much worse. One of them coming up in another Controversial Movies Poll.
