Here's an idea, why not make some of our own?
We can do better than those fat cats in tinseltown sitting behind their desks.
Also, aren't the Orange commercials before movies great? Has anyone else memorised them all?
Here's one to kick you off:
[glow=red,2,300] "Her last hope just went bowling" [/glow]
Another:
[glow=red,2,300]"A thriller about one sentence, and the man who heard it" [/glow]
And lastly:
[glow=red,2,300]"Remember your first kiss? She doesn't." [/glow]
Algo
P.S. Bring it on! I've got lots more!

"She didn't love him. He begged to differ." "In her country it was forbidden. In our country it's kinky." "Love actually is intolerably cruel." "Phrase movies are teh suck." "Partners in crime? You could say that." "The gates of Hell lie within."
I am an aspiring screenwriter. These are taglines of some screenplays I'm experimenting with.

The first one's quality, Smitty.
The cry is out there, people.
Mine are all from real movies, who knows what they are?

I like this idea a lot, mightyalgo! ...Even though so far I didn't guess either your fake taglines or frankenjohn's. Give us several more! Meanwhile I'll think of some of my own.

here are some more for you.
[glow=red,2,300]Come see Colonel Sanders spout gibberish.[/glow]
[glow=red,2,300]Come see robo-sanders![/glow]
[glow=red,2,300] He said he'd be back. This time he brought a friend.[/glow]
They're a bit easier.
Harder ones here:
[glow=red,2,300] There were six guys. They had a plan. It was a plan with only one drawback. It failed.[/glow]
[glow=red,2,300] The escape to Mexico didn't go to plan, at least not for the living.[/glow]
[glow=red,2,300] Two friends, One mall, No worries.[/glow]
Hope you like them.
Clues, I suppose, are in order for the old ones, so here goes:
Set in the early nineties. One of the characters is supposedly a tumbleweed. That's quite obvious enough, if you've seen it.
A thriller by a master in his golden period starring one of the great actors, based around one five minute sequence at the beginning.
A movie I haven't seen but stars two big names, one mentioned often on this site.
Snoogins, ALGO

"Her last hope just went bowling" - The Big Lebowski, maybe?
"A thriller about one sentence, and the man who heard it" - The Conversation?
Not sure about the rest. I've got an easy one for you:
"Crime is the disease. Stay away from the cure"
