42ndStreetFreak, Thats a lot of recent purchases. I gotta ask. Are all your dvds in your collection, not of the dvd-r type? if ya know what I mean. all of these are originals. Most of mine are with only hard to find/not uncut on DVD title being on DVD-R. Or DVD=R's I have made myself when moving things from VHS. Otherwise almost everything is original. Some of the DVD's are so cheap online (even with posatge to the UK) it does not actually cost as much as the number of titles would have you believe. the 3 from DDDHouse cost £9, and that includes postage from Hong Kong. the Wayne films are about £5 including postage from USA. Arrived today: SWV' 3 header: EVIL COME EVIL GO / TERROR AT ORGY CASTLE / THE HAND OF PLEASURE

Good stuff 42ndStreetFreak. So how are them transfers on the ones that are £9 or £5 each? Better than VHS & Laserdisc I hope.

Battle Royale: finally in Poland, and it's not expensive, either. Couldn't resist buying it, especially since I haven't yet seen the movie.

Good stuff 42ndStreetFreak. So how are them transfers on the ones that are £9 or £5 each? Better than VHS & Laserdisc I hope. The Wayne films are all 'Universal' releases. Most are anamorphic, a couple are not, but all are excellent quality. The Hong Kong DVD's vary (as always) but they are still much superior to any VHS release. Impulse buy from the sales: "The Honeymoon Killers"

My Mom just gave me a couple double features:
Scarecrow & Scarecrow Slayer (both on same DVD) The Hidden & The Hidden 2 (on same DVD)
I'd already seen the first Scarecrow--my review has been in Review Hell for a while.

Without A Paddle Special Collector's Edition Alone in the Dark Paul Mccartney in Red Square Seed of Chucky is pretty good (the extended version is only about a minute longer, but of what I don't know). Careful with Alone in the Dark--it's from Uwe "House of the Dead" Boll.
