Since last I posted:
Kung Fu Seasons 1 & 2, both as a gift for my brother... but now I'm hooked.
Sin City - I love this movie. It's my favorite movie this year, and on my top 30 of all time. But the DVD fucking SUCKED. I'm very disappointed in it. One featurette that was probably shown on HBO in order to entice people to see the movie. That's fine before the movie comes out, but after I've seen the movie 6 times, it'd be nice to know something I didn't know already.
Forrest Gump - It bothered me for a long time that I didn't have this movie, but now I do, and for a not-too-shabby price, either.
And on an added note, my bro's fiancee got him Chappelle's Show, seasons 1 & 2. God, I love that show.

the transfer was fine, but i like my DVDs to be loaded with special features... or at least a making-of documentary.

Triple box set at a cheap price of: "Kiss the Girls", "Along Came a Spider", "The Sum of all Fears".
"John Woo Collection" - "The Killer"/"A Bullet in the Head"/"Once a Thief". (HKL) I already had "The Killer", but only had "Bullet" on a VHS and "Thief" on a VHS dupe and this was a cheap way to upgrade to the excellent 'HKL' DVD's ...so I shall sell off my spare "Killer".
"The Mighty Boosh" - 2 disc.
"Tiger on the Beat" (HKL) - Upgrade from VHS.

"The Green Berets" - a flipper, but at least it's anamorphic.
"The Texas Chainsaw Massacre" (R2) - Nice and cheap upgrade from widescreen (nice quality though) VHS. But what's this? non-anamorphic? Shocking.
Went on a super-cheap (£1 each) grey market binge from the infamous UK label '23rd Century':
"Death Dimension" - Jim Kelly, 'Odd Job' and George Lazenby. King Fu and 'freeze bombs'! Schlock spewer Al Adamson is at the helm. Pretty nice picture.
"Berserker: the Nordic Curse" - Oh dear! Teens, woods, a nutter Norseman and a crazy bear. Transfer is a VHS with digital fuzz. They steal part of the cover art from "Witchboard"!!!
"The Final Executioner" - Italian post apoc cheese fest. VHS quality with digital fuzz. For some reason they credit David Warbeck on the cover though he's not in it! An ancient Woody Strode is though.
"Fists(Hands) of Steel" - Sergio Martino future violence fest, with a great cast! John 'Tenebre' Saxon, George 'Anthropophagus' Eastman, janet 'Eaten Alive' Agren, Claudio 'Fighting Centurions' Cassinelli. VHS quality.
"The Manhandlers" - HO HO!!! Now then this Lee 'Hell's Angels '69' Madden helmed, non-porn Exploitation flick is actually from 1975, but '23rd Century' have put on a (nipples covered by stars) busty woman on the cover, who has nothing to do with the film, and 3 young and tasty models (with bare arses) looking up at you on the back, who are also not in the film! A '75 grindhouse fest marketed to look like a modern hardcore porn flick! Nice picture.
I pity the punters who got taken in!

"Hellfighters" - John Wayne fights fires.
"Hatari" - John Wayne catches rhinos.
"Hard Boiled" - Upgrade from VHS. The new Mei Ah release.
"The Osterman Weekend" - 2 disc of Pekinpah's flawed, rather confused but fun and well cast final film.
Nice 'n' cheap from the DDDHouse sale:
"The Peeping Tom" - CATIII nastiness with a rapist who chops the legs of his victims! Jade 'Black Cat' Leung stars.
"Sworn Brothers" - An Andy Lau gunplay film that has past me by. Looks good.
"She Shoots Straight" - 'Nu Wave' femme action classic with Joyce 'Eastern Condors' Godenzi.

My order from DeepDiscountDvd arrived today. ;D
THE DEER HUNTER: The Legacy Series Been waiting a while for this one to be released. THE COMPLETE MUSKETEERS Two disc set that includes both of director Richard Lester's Musketeers movies, THE THREE MUSKETEERS and it's sequel, THE FOUR MUSKETEERS. Rollicking old fashioned action-adventure. GHOST WORLD Saw it last year for the first time and thought it was not only quirky, but pretty great. Steve Buscemi is fantastic here. OF MICE AND MEN: Special Edition Gary Sinise & John Malkovich in the best adaptation of the Steinbeck novel, imho. Sinise also directed. SPARTACUS: The Criterion Collection Kubrick directs Kirk Douglas in the role of a lifetime. It's been a long time, so I can't wait to watch this one again.
