Saw this yesterday and was AMAZED at how good it was! Now it's officially one of my favourite action movies and no doubt one of the Top 3 Remakes ever made!
So! Damn! COOL! I mean - I think it's even cooler than Ocean's 11 and that's saying something, eh? Don't wanna go into details right now, but wanted to ask: is there anyone here who felt as excited about it as I am now? Or anyone who thinks it sucks?

I saw it, I'm excited, too, but I would'n go that far and call it better than Ocean's 11??!! Ok, acting was superb, the plot was gripping, and so were the shooting and the minis:) AMAZING. I really enjoyed the twists in the story and these witty dialogues - however, I wouldn't trade George's charm even for this italian masterpiece;)

George? Clooney, you mean? Oh, I think the mix of Edward Norton's evil and Seth Green's wisecracking is worth trading for one Georgey's charm easily? Plus Charlize Theron beats Julia Roberts anytime

Watched this again recently and I agree, it's a good action movie. Some funny moments, good stunts, and I love heist movies. Seth Green was a scene stealer. "Call me Napster". But I think the cast of OCEAN'S 11, another recent heist remake I enjoyed, overall had more charm. They both have their merits.

Oh yeah, I def. liked 'Ocean's Eleven' better than 'The Italian Job', can't wait to see 'Ocean's Twelve'.

'Call me Napster', yeah: this line alone beats anything in Ocean's Eleven! Or... uh... you don't like me exaggerating so much, do you? Anyway: I still think that overall The Italian Job is better. But I'm looking forward to Ocean's Twelve, too: the first one WAS very good, let's give it that.
