Yo, so it's only been about two years since a new thread formed in here, and lo and behold, this crossed my mind:
Are there any DVD's anyone on here regrets buying, or later, couldn't believe they wasted money on something?
For instance: I wish I hadn't wasted perfectly good money on the first Resident Evil movie.
And I shake my head at the ludicrous purchasing of Howling III and Amityville 4 (as some of you may be aware, two of the worst movies out there).

Well, Q, while I'm not the hugest fan of the first Resident Evil, the 2-disc Special Edition is actually a great buy, at least for me. I thought it looked great, the sound was decent, and most importantly for me, the disc was loaded with extras, which is what I like about these movies. I pretty much enjoyed it. The one I regret purchasing was The Howling bare-bones disc two-weeks before the Special Edition came out. Never knew about it before then, and had wanted the movie badly. That's my one regret.

Pawn that old Howling. You can get the Special Edition for 10 bucks brand new at Wal-Mart.
Actually has some decent special features.

I do have the special edition version, I agree, the features are pretty sweet. Picked it up for $12 at Best Buy, but still the still the same to me. Just bitching that I had two versions of the movie.

For some reason, I have the following movies in Full Screen:
Crash Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clones Spider-Man
I love all those movies, it just bugs me I didn't buy them in Widescreen.

Oh yeah, I hate that. I bought Red Dragon in Full Screen. Never buy a DVD from a grovery store. That was the lesson I learned that day.

Master Of Disguise is a winner so far, I guess; I'd much rather have Howling III than this piece of painful unfunniness.
My first bad buy was Megiddo: Omega Code 2 and I've been a very careful DVD buy ever since. Sure I own the likes of Mission To Mars, Charlie's Angels and Exorcist II: The Heretic but I consider them all fun films.

Nanny Mcphee!!! Not once but twice!!! Fucking Columbia House & their stupid Director Selection. If they don't credit my account after returning both copies, expect a huge mushroom cloud above the province of Ontario Canada!

KRUSH GROOVE
I love some really bad movies, but even I had to say WTF when I watched this one again. I still can't believe I bought it. Really good soundtrack though!

Maybe I should watch it again...
