Will be disappointed to learn that the delay of Season 3 was because of music rights. Why do I care? Its the opening song, Love & Marriage. Not only that but instead of editing out the opening credits to each episode, Columbia has decided to replace the opening theme song with... well don't know yet, but doesn't sound good. What pisses me off.. 4 individual dvd releases of Married With Children before Frank & company decide.. Ok lets ruin the show now instead of than.

I'm a semi-fan of this. Was rolling with laughter during the first episodes and then, somehow, it ceased to be that funny.

I'm a semi-fan of this. Was rolling with laughter during the first episodes and then, somehow, it ceased to be that funny. I kind of grew out of that humor, although occasionally a rerun will be on and I may watch. Can't say I would buy the DVD though. But I agree with Term that it's stupid to 'replace' the opening theme song. Is that all really necessary? Just release them for the fans!

I agree with Bartwald & Pheonix on this. The show seemed hilarious & cutting edge/daring at first, but soon ran out of steam for me. It seemed to become more about getting the studio audience to hoot & holler. I have no problem with the bevy of beauties that seemed to parade on that show week after week, but it needed better stories in order to keep my interest. I may catch part of an earlier episode on tv once in a while, but I'm not interested in owning it on DVD.

I like the show but I can think of better things to spend my hard-earned pennies on. ;D

I agree--it was good for the first six seasons or so and then it fell apart. But MUSIC RIGHTS are holding it up? That's asinine! They didn't complain about the first two seasons! Well--all I'll do is either turn the sound off during the opening credits or fast forward to the episode. My only complaint--let's get some GOOD extras on season three! The ones they had before were dull and from that silly reunion special FOX had a few years ago. How about some out takes or interviews with the cast about how they feel about the show now?
