Too many to choose from there, Termination. You'll have to tell us, I'm afraid.

The wolves. Couldn't believe how real they looked. Damn! I really wanted to write "In my opinion the wolves were the greatest CGI effect in the movie, but what can I do? I'm a horror geek" instead of my "You'll have to tell us" post! Nice to know we agree about this!

The wolves. Couldn't believe how real they looked. Really?? I kept hearing that the wolves were one of the least successful effects in the movie? Maybe people were reacting to the scene more than to the actual effect?? I'll have to see for myself. Eventually.

By the way, congrats on the Moderator gig Term! Thanks LDG, I'll try & keep things in order here. ;D Really?? I kept hearing that the wolves were one of the least successful effects in the movie? Maybe people were reacting to the scene more than to the actual effect?? I'll have to see for myself. Eventually. The Cgi on the wolves were defintely overlooked imo, with so many different kinds of special effects in this film, you kind of get the feeling Ooo.. Yep.. seen that one done before. The Wolves were a great asset to the film because of the many familiar Cgi scenes scene in other movies.

I just saw DAT last night...dissapointed... Oh, and I bought ANOES. ;D I was disappointed with DAT, too. Good effects - hell yeah! - but a paper thin story and characters. ANOES - high time, frankenjohn!

The wolves. Couldn't believe how real they looked. I can't believe they actually put wolves in the movie. REEEEEEEEdiculous! They looked real I guess, but I don't think their behavior was accurate (but what is accurate in that movie?). I heard the commentary on that DVD was so serious it was comical. Did you listen to it?

An early Woo and Chan in the rather entertaining and violent form of "Hand of Death".

I thought the CGI on the wolves were terrible. I mean, Van Helsing bad.
The other effects, however, were very good. The rest of the movie was a real visual masterpiece.
Anyway, put an order down on Chasing Amy, finally.

"Irreversible" - Let's see if the hype is justified. You haven't seen it yet, 42nd? A powerful - if sometimes truly unpleasant - movie! Tell us what you thought about it! Oh, and I also want to get Cape Fear SE (what's the quality of the extras there?) and Don't Look Now (haven't seen it).
