This one is mostly for Fenril, but anyone else is welcome to chip in.
Knowing that I'm a huge fan of foreign horror and having seen films from almost every country that has made them (there's only a few that I haven't seen at least one from) the one country I haven't seen any from is Mexico. I know they've produced a lot but I haven't seen any. Is there any recommendations I should look at? I don't care the genre or style, I watch those different types.

Isn't "The Devil's Backbone" from Mexico?
Well, Guillermo Del Toro is Mexican but I think it takes place in Spain because it was produced by Almodovar.
That's about all I know off the top of my head.

What about Polish horrors, slayrrr? Have you seen any?
As for the ones from Mexico, sadly, I am not an expert - but Pulp is right that it's Del Toro's stuff that comes to mind the quickest. The Devil's Backbone and Cronos are part of horror history already.

Well, Bart, to answer your question:
The only Polish one I know of is Lokis, but I haven't seen it. Poland, Denmark, Sweden and Norway are the only countries I know of that has produced horror films that I haven't seen.
And in regards to Del Toro, Cronos is strickly Mexican, while Devil's Backbone is co-produced by Spain and Mexico. But not having seen them, my number's still zero for Mexico.

Or "El Topo."
But that movie's more strange, bizarre, and surreal than actually frightening.

Since I don't speak Spanish at all, what's that mean?

I mentioned Cronos above, Quorth. A good quasi-vampire film with a great performance from Perlman. Well, Bart, to answer your question: The only Polish one I know of is Lokis, but I haven't seen it. Poland, Denmark, Sweden and Norway are the only countries I know of that has produced horror films that I haven't seen. Lokis is one, yeah. Other two recommendations would be She-Wolf (a weird, atmospheric werewolf horror) and Medium (an even weirder paranormal horror/drama).

Seems like Del Toro is the runaway favorite for me to get onto viewing, but so far I haven't been that impressed with his. Mimic is one I felt should've been better than it was, and Hellboy wasn't all that great, compared to Blade 2, but that had a tendency to drag on at time and felt too overlong. So far, it's 2 to 1, so I hope it'll swing into a more positive side.
Isn't She-Wolf by Gino Di Silvestro and a cheesy Eurohorror werewolf tale? That title rings a bell.

Sure, Quorth - it is worth being mentioned twice. Isn't She-Wolf by Gino Di Silvestro and a cheesy Eurohorror werewolf tale? That title rings a bell. That's perhaps another She-Wolf - and I haven't seen this one. The original title is Wilczyca and it is sometimes also translated as The Wolf. Followed by a sequel (The Return Of She-Wolf).

Hmm, I konw of the Italian She-Wolf title, so I'll give your Polish one a look up to see what it's about.

She-Wolf is one of my favorite Megadeth songs.
I should have the T-Shirts somewhere...

It was the only song I liked off that album.
