I went with Creepshow--the original. I've even read the comic book version of it. It rocks!

I voted for Tales From The Darkside but honestly - I saw them all so long time ago that a fresh watch would be necessary to judge it better. Anyway though: Tales and Body Bags were, from what I can remember, most fun for me. Tales won here mainly thanks to the sentimental value but these were Bags that were creepier - just looking at John Carpenter does it!

My favorite is... not on the list. It's Trilogy of terror. Because Karen Black is the queen and because the infamous Zuni fetish doll gave me nightmares for a while (I have this thing with dolls).
I voted for Two evil eyes because... well, just because. I loved Argento's very eclectic version of "The black cat", and Romero gave another decent zombie yarn.
Creepshow is a classic, but somehow the segment with King himself (Lonesome death of Jordan Veil, I think) kinda damped my enthusiasm. The dude just can't act, quit giving him parts in his own movies / TV series.
I also like "Trilogy of terror 2" (especially the "Bobby" segment) and "Nightmares". I want to add the "Twilight zone movie", but I only liked the segment about the boy with superpowers.
I also barely remember seeing "Quicksilver highway", mainly because of the Clive Barker story about living severed hands.
I really wish they'd make more of this kind of movies. They are usually so much fun.

I went with CREEPSHOW, but frankly, only because it's the one I remember the best. I remember the story about a creature in a crate, and the guy whose apartment is infested by cockroaches. Also, King as a hillbilly who finds a meteor ala THE BLOB. Didn't one of them end with Ted Danson buried up to his neck in sand on a beach?
I've seen a few of the others as well, but like Bart, It's been a long time since I've watched any of these.

I voted for Creepshow, but you're missing the BEST ONE!!!... TALES FROM THE CRYPT! I wasn't sure about that. I know there was a movie made in like the 60's or 70's that was TftC, but I wasn't sure if it was a multi-story deal. I know the two more recent films aren't (Demon Knight and Bordello of Blood). I did, however, forget The Twilight Zone: The Movie. Sorry about that one.

I did, however, forget The Twilight Zone: The Movie. Sorry about that one. Frankly, as a major fan of the original series, I thought the movie version was a huge missed opportunity. Mostly average remakes and lackluster stories. Thought the best one was the John Lithgow remake of the William Shatner episode about the nervous passenger who can't convince anyone that there's a gremlin on the wing of the plane. Also enjoyed the little intro story with Dan Aykroyd & Albert Brooks driving around singing TV show themes. "Wanna see something really scary?"

Alright now: who has seen Cat's Eye? I saw it yesterday, so couldn't have voted for it in the poll - and I would have! So good, this: not only does it take some of King's BEST short stories (as opposed to Creepshow) but makes it all the better by having good cast (James Woods! Robert Hays! tiny Drew Barrymore!) and a genius cat.
The Ledge was my favourite part but the other two were great as well. If you haven't seen it yet - here's my recommendation.

I also have Cat's Eye, but still, obviously, enjoy Creepshow more.
Two out of three of those King shorts are in the Night Shift collection, I believe... I read "The Ledge" and "Quitters Inc."

Took me awhile here because normally these films are called Anthologies, which I thought was common knowledge but if you want to go for the literal meaning. I thought you meant stuff like 'Saw' or 'Scream,' where they have multiple films that tell/complete a story.
Anyway, I'd go for Creepshow 2. The Lonesome Death of Jody Verill is so not needed at all that that segment, and the unbearable opening of The Crate lower the original for me, despite being highly enjoyable the rest of the way. Creepshow 2 is just a more cohesive effort since those stories are better and have nothing wrong with them.
