So, who's buying it? I know you were disappointed with the movie, Heineken, but maybe this longer version is a promise of a better flick? From HorrorWeb: Columbia has announced Hellboy: The Director's Cut which is the latest film from director Guillermo del Toro. This new three-disc release will be available to own from the 19th October this year, and should be priced at around $34.95. The director has decided to introduce around twenty-minutes of additional and extended scenes for this new cut, bringing the total runtime to around 132 minutes. The set will include all of the features of the original two-disc set, with the exception of a new director's commentary replacing the old. Also new to the set will be over three hours of all-new bonus material, including the Comic Con 2002 Panel Discussion with Guillermo del Toro, Ron Perlman and Mike Mignola, a Mike Mignola Artwork Gallery with Commentary and much more. Completing the package will be an exclusive, limited edition ?Excerpt from the Diary of Grigori Rasputin? created by Mike Mignola. We'll bring you the full rundown on specs shortly. Available from the same day will be a limited edition giftset that includes the three-disc director's cut along with a cool Sideshow Collectibles Hellboy statue. This will retail at around $59.95.

There were things about the movie that I enjoyed, so if I can find it fairly inexpensively, I might consider picking it up. I met Ron Perlman earlier this year at a comic & sci-fi convention, soon after HELLBOY premiered, and he was a very cool dude. Posed for a pic and signed my Hellboy graphic novel. Even complimented me on the shirt I was wearing, so besides being a pretty good actor he's also obviously got taste too.

I've been a fan of his since he was 'Vincent' on the Beauty & The Beast tv series.

What shirt was it, Heineken? I guess you knew I'm going to ask about it and it's not anything you may feel uncomfortable talking about? I mean - you sure didn't sport Teletubbies or anything?

Nah, I haven't worn the Teletubbies T-shirt in months. ;D
Actually, it was a black, short sleeved button up shirt, which is nothing special from the front, but it has some very cool artwork on the back of a dragon and some Japanese characters (lettering).

I just saw the boxed set w/bust on amazon for pre-order - so that is probably the next must have for me. I am a fan of Hellboy, and I waited to buy the DVD for the deluxe set. I'm excited for it!
