I watched Evil Dead which had a lot of gore but it didn't make me queasy. I want to take slow steps towards the king gore movie (Dead Alive). Can anyone tell me what should be my next step?

As far as I'm concerned, Evil Dead and Dead Alive (Brain Dead, depending on where in the world you are) are the two goriest slop-fests ever concieved. Evil Dead is just damn gross--they tried to avoid a pure X rating by using fluids other than blood red and ended up making something even nastier than just a blood-red orgy could percieve. Dead-Alive is mostly just blood and guts. I'm one of those few who believe that Evil Dead is simply the goriest, nastiest film ever made.
Close behind those are Day of the Dead, Dawn of the Dead (both versions did well), and countless other messterpieces. The Re-Animator flicks, for instance.
And I've seen the Gore-Gore Girls, all the Toxic Avenger films, and a few Lucio Fulci films.
Anyone else seen anything gorier?

Passion of Jebuz was bloody and violent, but not Evil Dead/Dead Alive gory.

I didn't find The Passion very disturbing. Neither did my 92 year old great-grandmother...

You want to know disturbing? I found an animated version for "the whole family" at Target.
Here's an idea, let's make a movie about torturing and crucifying a guy and set it up for kids!! Terrible.
