Tells the story of a young man named Jack Russell, who upon his eighteenth birthday discovers they he is the latest in line to suffer from a family curse of lycanthropy. The curse was placed years before via an evil book called the "Darkhold". Oscar-nominated screenwriter Robert Nelson Jacobs (Chocolat) is writing the script.

The legendary Guy N. Smith wrote a werewolf book under a similar title.
