From Creature Corner:
Okay, so maybe Paul W.S. Anderson isn't such a bad guy after all. Though nothing will make me forgive him for AVP, he is producing the next film from Ginger Snaps director John Fawcett, so he can't be all bad.
As we've reported on before the film is called simply The Dark, and it's about a man, his wife, and their dead daughter. It's a ghost story, of course, but Anderson assures us that it's a damn scary ghost story, with elements of movies like Don't Look Now intermingled in it. Sean Bean and Maria Bello star, and filming is just now wrapping up on the Isle of Man.
The Dark is set for release sometime in 2005, which gives you plenty of time to go out and get the novel the film is based on, Sheep by Simon Maginn.

Atmospheric, but not all that exciting. Could've used a lot more action, or at least some, since it is somewhat sleep inducing due to the lethargic pacing. Those scares do save it somewhat, but when they're surrounded by boredom, hard to compensate.
