On with the threads by director, here about those whose work is primarily focused on Horror.
So, which Craven movies have you seen? Got any favorites and / or least favorites?
Let's see, I'd rank the ones I have seen so, from most to least favorite:
1. The serpent and the rainbow.
2. The people under the stairs.
3. A nightmare on Elm Street.
4. Wes Craven's new nightmare.
5. Scream.
6. Summer of fear (aka Stranger in our house).
7. Deadly friend.
8. Deadly blessing.
9. Scream 2.
10. Scream 4.
11. The hills have eyes.
12. Last house on the left.
13. Red eye.
14. Scream 3.
To be honest, this is one of those directors who, even at his best, strikes me as more "entertaining" than "good"... but in itself that's not a bad thing, I believe.
I will, however, have to admit that I'm still very reluctant to check out his latter offerings (specifically "Cursed" and "My soul to take") due to reputation. We'll see, I guess...

I, too, have never really been all that impressed with his work, the decline from his early years to more recent offerings clearly show his to be a product of hype, legacy and luck (I choose all three factors to explain his popularity) so although he has a lot I would say are at the very least above-average to enjoyable, there's still not that one big effort where I can really say to be a flat-out fanatic about his work.
1. The Serpent and the Rainbow 2. A Nightmare on Elm Street 3. Scream 2 4. The Hills Have Eyes 5. New Nightmare 6. Scream 7. Cursed 8. Shocker 9. Scream 3 10. Scream 4 11. My Soul to Take 12. The People Under the Stairs 13. The Hills Have Eyes Part 2 14. Chiller
I think that takes care of his true horror output minus Last House on the Left, his thrillers or non-horror stuff was never viewed to begin with and probably never will
