American horror story: Coven. I don't usually post here because I seldom watch tv shows as they air, and when I do the english-spoken ones air much later here. This one, however, is airing more or less concurrently. So far I'm really enjoying it, it has the same mix of perverse scares and playful genre references of the first season.

Actually, so am I. My girlfriend's been encouraging me to check this out since she loves the cast and wants me to get into with her, and so far it's been really good, moreso than I thought it would be. Some problems here and there but overall it's not as bad as I thought. Definitely much better attempt at making a horror-centered TV series than The Walking Dead.

I did try "The walking dead", but mostly it felt like another show that wants to be next Lost, in this case with zombies. I just found it boring overall.

Yeah, I tried watching a few recent episodes of the show and most of it was about the relationships between the people in that world rather than on the zombies taking them out like what it should've been about. I don't really care for acting-heavy shows anyway, and when you only get two zombie encounters in an hour-long TV show, the combined total of those equalling five minutes of screen-time with the rest of it people bitching and arguing with each other, I'm not a happy camper.

American horror story: Coven.
Sleepy hollow. I had missed this show on its' debut, but there was a marathon and I decided to check it out. However, I lost interest after the first two episodes --this was thoroughly dull, and mostly felt like an attempt to rip off the Burton movie (rather than the original story).

American horror story: Coven. This just keeps getting gorier and better.
Once upon a time. Missed the third season premiere over here, so started catching up with another marathon. I guess I'm still enjoying it, through the tendency to bring every Disney versiĆ³n of fairy-tale characters into the show is starting to become far too cute --if they bring in a mermaid named Ariel, they immediately bring in a sea witch named Ursula, for instance.

Saw American Horror Story: Coven as well, are you on Burn, Witch Burn which was the one from last night? I have some sneaking suspicions about that one but I don't want to spoil it if you're behind me in the air dates.

I have some sneaking suspicions about that one but I don't want to spoil it if you're behind me in the air dates. Took me a while to answer, but yeah, I've seen that episode. So what's your suspicion? Saw Supernatural -- I think this is the only show I ever followed from "genuinely good" to "entertaining" to "so bad it's good", and I barely even noticed it had become that until now. A curiosity: Would you reccomend "Mom"? I'm kinda intrigued by the premise, but wary of another Chuck Lorre show -- I'm not exactly a fan of "Two and a half men" or "The big bang theory". I did like his productions "Grace under fire", "Cybill" and "Roseanne", but those were a while ago.
