I seldom recommend specific editions of books, much less editions I haven't yet read; however, this one definitely needed sharing: darkwolfsfantasyreviews.blogspot.com/2011/06/title-spotlight-three-messages-and.html"Three messages and a warning", an anthology of mexican sci-fi, fantasy and horror stories translated to english. The reason I recommend this is that genre mexican fiction is so rarely translated or even distributed outside of Mexico, so this might be a good chance to help several great writers get the international recognition they deserve. Of this particular group I especially recommend Amparo Dávila, Jose Luis Zárate, Alberto Chimal and Ana Clavel [with one caveat: I *hope* the translators did a good job, but who knows].
