Did you guys hear about this? Apparently, this is footage of a woman talking on a cell phone in 1928.
The YouTube video explains further about it.
I'm sure there is a logical, innocuous explanation, but for now this is pretty weird.

Indeed! If so far you didn't think Chaplin was a genius - there you go!

I've just came across independently this seemingly very sensational short footage which was shot in 1928 and released on a DVD as an extra to the silent Chaplin movies. The scene is showing a mysterious person who appears to be talking on a cell phone. I've found it on a reliable astronomy site - "The Universe Today". The footage via You Tube network became very popular on web. The way an author or rather discoverer of this purported sensation (an independent film maker form Ireland) is talking about the scene to me was very enjoyable and the whole thing, the close ups and vivid narration held my attention. I've got some explanations and comments, but watch it yourself first, tell me about your feelings, ideas and what do you think about that. I'm sure there is a logical, innocuous explanation, but for now this is pretty weird. Yes there is, indeed So, the three of us have already seen it - what about the rest of The Board?

I saw this today and laughed. Of course the most logical explanation is time travel. hahah
I think one of the 1920's hearing aid is more likely. They were about the size of a cell phone and were typically black and worked by holding them up to your ear.
