Another of the sister threads to the Mexican horror thread, this one dedicated to horror coming from Finland.
So, how many Finnish horrors have you seen?

Well, I can finally hold one up over you here, I've seen two: Dark Floors and Skeleton Crew, both are really good. And since you asked: Dark Floors is about a group of people descending an elevator in a hospital and finding themselves in a strange alternate dimension inhabited by demons (actually the rock band Lordi in their stage make-up) who are looking to steal one of their souls or something. It was in English, but I still have no clue what happened during it, as it deals with time-alterations, actions from the future impacting the past and such, it's beyond confusing when you think about it, but the visuals are a lot of fun. Skeleton Crew is a lot better, about a US/Finnish film crew shooting a horror film in Finland about a legendary Finnish doctor who experimented with torture methods to cure the insane patients he treated at the same hospital where he worked, stumble upon his long-lost collection of snuff films he shot there and decide to alter the film to be closer to the films they've found but are slowly picked off by a figure on the crew looking to make a lot more legitimate snuff films. Yeah, there's a lot more plot to it, but it's easier to understand, feels a lot more traditional in flow and feeling, and contains some rather brutal and bloody killings. I'd recommend this one first.

These two sound good, I'll have to look out for them. Never heard about them before.

Just heard of a new Finnish horror film coming out: Rare Exploits.
On Christmas Eve in Finland, Santa Claus is unearthed in an archaeological dig. Soon after, children start disappearing, leading a boy and his father to capture Santa and, with the help of fellow hunters, they look to sell him back to the corporation that sponsored the dig. And then there's Santa's elves, who are determined to free their leader...
Bart, I remember you also had up a Christmas horror thread in here at one point, add one more.
