Frogs (1972) would go here, as well. Despite the title, most of the killing in the movie is done by other animals and even plants.
Long weekend! (the 1978 version, that is) Great australian chiller with lots of atmosphere and only two main characters.
Wendigo... if it's the one I'm thinking of (2002; pseudo werewolf movie) was kinda odd. Very interesting, but not quite scary.
The island of Dr. Moreau. I liked it, but a lot of people hated it. Very close to the original novel.
I loved Day of the animals. It's that movie where Leslie Nielsen wrestles with a bear.
I barely remember seeing Congo...

I'll add the first three here, forgot those as they were all beyond crap and I hated them, pretty much like most of the ones in the genre. This is perhaps the crappiest genre of all the creature features and I really don't have much good to say about the majority of these. Really, only the killer bear films are any good, beyond that there's not much that appeals to me.

Eh, it's a matter of taste. I enjoyed some of these for the atmosphere (as in the way the situation is set up, the suspense built up, etc.), and really so long as it's good or at least entertaining I don't really care how ridiculous the premise is.

What about The Killer Shrews a 1959 movie directed by Ray Kellogg. By some considered to be a cult film. Have you seen it?
The Day of the Triffids comes to my mind next - an apocalyptic vision borrowing a bit from Frankenstein - the title plant was thought to escape some unknown dark Russian lab where it was created. I would nickname the movie The Day of Flowery Frankensteins.
Well - another one of its kind - The Little Shop of Horrors (1960) - A clumsy young man nurtures a plant and discovers that it's bloodthirsty, forcing him to kill people to feed it with Jack Nicholson starring in it. A classy movie for sure. And its 1986 remake called almost the same - Little Shop of Horrors with Rick Moranis.

Yeah, I've seen it, I can't believe I forgot it. I'll add it in.
I saw one of the twenty different versions of Triffids, and I don't see enough horror elements to call them a horror film. More like dark sci-fi, while the Shop of Horrors I've never seen, only the straight-up comedy version with Rick Moranis. I've been looking for the original for a while but always had something else found whenever I went shopping.

What about mosquitoes, killer bees and all other kinds of insects, spiders and other invertebrates - there's a whole bunch of flicks - a gold mine really or at least a coal mine Swarm is a classic but I doubt whether it is a legitimate full horror movie.

I barely remember seeing Congo... A truly terrible film. I, too, hardly remember what it was about. And it should have been so much better - Bruce Campbell was in it, after all!

Wow, you really don't know how to search through the board, as it's on the first page in this forum, in fact Right Here. ;D Spiders have their own list as well Right Here. Just because no one's posted in them doesn't mean I don't have them listed.
