Just a simple list to be able to mark down all the different creature features that contain any species of killer fish.
Barracuda Creatures from the Abyss (aka Plankton) The Fishmen and Their Queen (aka La regina degli uomini pesce) Frankenfish Island of the Fishmen (aka L'isola degli uomini pesce) Killer Fish (aka Killer fish agguato sul fondo, Naked Sun) Mega Piranha Piranha (1978) Piranha (1995) Piranha II: The Spawning Piranha 3D Piranha 3DD Razorteeth Snakehead Swamp Snakehead Terror Splatter Beach Zaat (aka Attack of the Swamp Creatures, Blood Waters of Dr. Z, Dr. Z, Hydra, Legend of the Zaat Monster)

I think the only one I've seen from that list is Piranha 1978. I might've started watching Snakehead Terror, but didn't finish. That's a SciFi original isn't it?

Yeah, it's one of the three they've done. Frankenfish and Mega Piranha being the other two.

Joe Dante's Piranha is my favourite of the bunch, but I was actually surprised at how much I liked Frankenfish - if you haven't seen this one, go for it.
Alexandre Aja's Piranha 3D, on the other hand, mostly disgusted me. It's silly but not funny, and gory but not really thrilling. One of this year's greatest disappointments in my opinion.

I reviewed Frankenfish a long time ago on here, man. It's one I've been bragging about for a long time as to being one of Sci-Fi's best entries, and it's still in my top 10 with a couple that have come out this year.

I reviewed Frankenfish a long time ago on here, man. Sure, I remember you watched it, so I was referring to anyone else who may happen to be reading this thread. Damn, I must admit I love killer fish movies. I even watched Piranha II: The Flying Killers about half a dozen times! It's even more surprising then that I didn't much enjoy Piranha 3D...

Well, you know my remake stance so I'm seeing that one on DVD.

Couple more films for the list:
Tintorera (1977) Mako: Jaws of death (1976) Open water (2003) (can we count this one?)

Of the original list, I've only seen a couple of the Piranha movies (not the new film, the one with the flying piranha), and remember them being... really silly, but very entertaining.

I only saw a list for killer sea creatures (not specifically sharks) and this one, so I figured they'd go here. Really, through, if you want to watch an underwater creature feature does it make a difference if the creature in cuestion is a fish, a molusk, etc.?

Sorry slayrrr666 but sharks are definitely fish and certainly killer fish by your own definition. No doubt about it. Fenril was right. The only famous sea killers that are not fish like killer whales (orcas) are mammals or octopi are molluscs. If you don't believe me - here's the definition of a shark www.thefreedictionary.com/shark

This is just my anality in classifying films coming through, I definitely agree that they're the same, but frankly, I'm grouping films in the sense of having the same creature. These here are mostly piranhas or snakeheads, but if they're fish in the most basic sense (think more in terms of your aquarium goldfish was mutated and went on a rampage) rather than the scientific classification. And I could've sworn I had a list of strictly sharks on here, maybe it was the other forum that had them. I'll have to get that up here then, but I could've sworn it was here.

This definition is definitely imaginative and invokes vivid images in my mind. I see them growing out of proportion, develop lungs and mammoth teeth and off they jump on me. Poor bastards their minutes of life are numbered
