Dead Air-Infected/zombie style film far better than 28 Days Later and it's ilk, mainly because they're never called zombies the whole time so I never think to call them that. Decent gore, a few great gags, some nice ideas and a large amount of confrontations keep the interest quite readily, even when it does drop in the insanely stupid and nonsensical terrorist angle towards the end. Actually a lot of fun.
Killer Movie-Fairly fun slasher film, though it's really not a spoof of one as the title suggests, so despite it being a little cheesy, I didn't find any of it funny. Some pretty good stalking scenes, an imposing killer (or at least one before he takes the mask off) and a nice selection of kills really make it enjoyable, despite it's rather lengthy opening non-kill section and rather insipid amount of talking-head reality-TV-show interviews which are rather irksome. Definitely one for the slasher fans though.

KIND HEARTS AND CORONETS (1949)
Louis Mazzini (Dennis Price), a distant relative of the aristocratic family D'Ascoyne, plots to inherit the title of Duke of D'Ascoyne, but in order to do so, he must first murder the eight other heirs who stand ahead of him in the line of succession.
This is considered a classic British comedy, but I swear I didn't laugh once. I thought it was actually a pretty good film, just didn't think it was funny. I usually enjoy British humor but I just didn't laugh here. Alec Guinness plays all eight of the D'Ascoynes that Louis must kill, which is pretty interesting, but again, not that funny. And they all looked like Guinness. I thought that was far funnier and more effective when Peter Sellers did it years later in DR. STRANGELOVE.
6/10 FRED CLAUS (2007)
In this Christmas family comedy, it turns out that Santa Claus (Paul Giamatti) has an older brother named Fred (Vince Vaughn). Santa is a Saint and beloved by children all over the world, but Fred, on the other hand, is kind of a scam artist, and bitter about his younger brother's success. When Fred lands in jail, he calls his brother to bail him out and to loan him $50,000 to open an off-track-betting shop. Santa agrees to help, but only if Fred comes up to the North Pole to help with the Christmas rush. Has it's cute moments, but nothing too special, and is Vaughn ever going to play anything but the fast-talking scam artist? Seriously, he's pretty much the same guy in every movie.
4.5/10

Baghead-I won't say much on this one, only the following:
This is bestowed with The Least Entertaining Film I've Ever Seen. It will be awfully hard to beat it, which is exactly what that movie will have to be to top this.

THE HANGOVER (2009)
A groom-to-be and his three groomsmen go to Vegas for the mother of all bachelor parties. After a night of drunken misadventures, the groomsmen wake up the next morning with the hotel room wrecked, a tiger and a baby in the room, the groom missing, and no memory of what happened. The three buddies must try to retrace their steps in order to figure out what happened and find him before the wedding.
Fast-paced and really funny.

Malevolence-Man, I really, really wanted to get into this slasher, but I just couldn't. Way too long of a set-up to get going, hampered by the fact that there's only six people we see regularly (including the killer) and with two of those who survive based on who they are, not spoiling it but you'll know they live the second they come into the story, which weeds out the possibilities of them upping the body count, the primary factor in slasher movies, pretty much takes it's toll on the film. Coupled with the few kills being really bloodless or edited to take away all that they could've shown is yet another factor here, and the great confrontations with the killer at the end can't make up for it. Those are fun, but it's just not that good.
100 Feet-Now, this is what you would expect from an outstanding ghost movie. Fantastic all the way from top to bottom, even though there's really only two deaths in the film so it's not got a lot of violence, but those don't matter at all as there's just a non-stop tidal wave of highly-effective, eerie and just utterly creepy moments and scares in here. Utterly minor, barely detrimental flaws do surface here, but these are wiped out by the outstanding parts that do show up, so this one more than makes up for them. High quality and a lot of class.

5 tries or attempts at this one. Finally finished it. The Criterion Collection, in my opinion, is overrated, Sorry. The Director approved transfer didn't help neither. Lots of static & picture noise with harsh black crush. Audio is stereo Linear & sounds ok but I believe the dialog throughout could have been cleaned up. A few friends actually believed me when I told them this was a VHS. lol

Terminator: Salvation- I enjoyed this one a lot more than I thought I would, being as it's been forever since I watched any of the other Terminator movies. I kept up pretty well. Ha.
