"Variety reports that Fox Searchlight will develop a sequel to the British horror-drama hit, "28 Days Later," tentatively titled "28 Weeks Later." The studio is in talks with Rowan Joffe to write the screenplay.
Alex Garland, who wrote the first movie, and Danny Boyle, who directed the first movie, will serve only as producers on the sequel along with Andrew MacDonald. MacDonald produced the first film as well."
Could be interesting, but then again...

"Could be interesting, but then again..."
We could end up with "28 MONTHS LATER" and then "28 YEARS LATER"?

Let's not stop there. There's still room for 28 Centuries Later and 28 Millenia Later...

Really? That was such an awesome movie! Definitely one of the best of '02... or '03, whichever year you want it creditted to.
