Here's a link to the website: www.dayofthedeadmovie.net/ ; myself, I think it should be at least a good movie but when I'm at my most optimistic, I expect it to be as good as Dawn Of The Dead: The Remake. The photos the website provides aren't bad, either. Check it out!

Did anyone else see it? What did you think?
The zombie crowd scenes were a thing to behold i think.
I could have done with a little less character and plot, and a whole lot more zombie slashing and burning!

The link in the first post here may have ceased working by now (it's been over a year now) but the important thing is: I saw the film!
It's not bad but, at least for me, it's not nearly as good as Land Of The Dead. It sports some surprisingly good gore and is much more disgusting than any Romero film as far as blood, guts and gooey faces are concerned. The acting is quite good too for an underground film. What the film lacks is a plot that could be honestly called thrilling or characters that could be called deep. And the ending? Can I please have it explained for me?!
Seen it, good people?

The link didn't really come up with anything for me to use. What is this? A Day remake?? Why haven't I heard of this?
And why is there a tiny button for "Creepshow 3" on there??

1. It has noting to do with Day of The Dead. 2. It has and unexplained killer. 3. An hour of the movie is just people barfing in a hospital and nobody noticing anything. 4. It is a piece of crap film with a good movie's title attached to it. 5. IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH DAY OF THE DEAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This news displeases me. However! Bart said it's got some pretty good gore... It does. And this is the main reason for seeing it: I, too, was disappointed about the movie having nothing to do with Day Of The Dead (it connects with Night, however), but, once again, for an underground flick this ain't totally bad. 5/10.

As bad as Uwe Boll is, that man is nowhere near as bad as the filth that made this. At least Boll's movies are remotely watchable. This movie is on par with the likes of the following crapfests that should be avoided AT ALL COSTS!:
1. Zombiegore. 2. 666: The Demon Child. 3. Ankle Biters. 4. Demon Summer. 5. Haute Tension. 6. The Driller Killer. 7. Strange Things Happen At Sundown. 8. Hood Of The Living Dead. 9. Dead Life. 10. Rise Of The Undead.
Too many to mention them all just now. This film has some really REALLY bad acting it is like a chore while watching it because of the lame acting and directing. The zombies were only just passable. The story and title should have been outlawed and I mean BANNED COMPLETELY AND THE TARTS RESPONSABLE CASTRAIGHTED ON THE SPOT!!.
It is a disgrace to the name it uses and these con merchants are just trying to cash in on the title that many a horror fan respect, they are commiting the ultimate act of Sacrilege. It makes Paul Anderson seem worthy enough to helm the Resident Evil movies when we see sh_it like this as you realise there really are far worse movie makers out there than Uwe Boll and Paul Anderson, far FAR WORSE!.
Watch this for proof!!.

I liked Contagium more than either of The Resident Evil films. No kidding.
You didn't like Haute Tension, Graveworm? I thought everyone loves that one? (Haven't seen it yet myself)

Watch this for proof!!. I'm sorry... worse than Uwe Boll?? I have serious doubts that's possible! The only reason his movies are even watchable is because some retard ponied up way too much money for them to be made. House of the Dead was really funny, but tiring and painful to watch--because it was so, so... so stupid. Isn't the Driller Killer actually Slumber Party Massacre III? That movie was atrocious. Ha ha and what the hell is Ankle Biters??

(Haven't seen it yet myself) I find that DOTDC to be utter mince in the highest form. Even more so that those two crapfest of teen action movies called RE. I detest those RE movies because they are a wasted chance of what could have been an excellent horror series. But instead got turned into a lame teen action series, with zombies in the background not up front where they belong. As for Haute Tension, no I didn't like it and I find it to be like Sin City. Way WAY overrated and extremely over hyped. Both of which bore me to tears. The only good thing I hope Sin City does is help Jessica "My #1 Actress" Alba's career a little. Other than that, it can go to hell. The retards who made day of the dead contagium and all of those on my list make Boll look like Romero and Carpenter. His mvies are at least watchable and not full of wank, OK, THEY ARE FULL OF WANK! . But it is more durable wank than that trash list I gave above, way more durable...and acceptable too!. His Alone In The Dark movie as flawed as it is, it cannot be touched by DOTDC IMO.

Haven't seen Slumber III but I don't think it's the same movie as Driller Killer - one of the infamous "nasties" directed by Abel Ferrara. And Ankle Biters is probably another film that wants to join our tiny terrors poll.

The movies "driller killer" and "the driller killer" they are one and the same Bartwald. At least over in the UK anyway. It is a nasty little film and I dont mean in a gory disturbing way. It is boring and it drags on for so long it should be a crime. The acting makes it feel like a chore when watching and to me there is no fun what so ever to be had watching it, none. It is your typical low budget pap that got labelled along with a long LONG line of other movies as a "Video Nasty" during the 80's in the UK.
