Well, I usually post earlier, but I didn't know if I'd be going this year due to hectic ticket issues, but they just came through so I'm gonna leave in a few hours after posting this. I'll be going through my usual Fourth of July activities, where I'm going to visit my parents and grandparents for the week and spend some time with them. I should be back and ready to post on Monday the 7th, so I'll see you all then. Keep the place going for me, and I'll find what I missed when I return.
PS, Heiney, I may watch one or two more movies while I'm at my parents house (I'm going there first as they have cable) that may count for the monthly totals, I'll post them when I get back but just to let you know that I'll be seeing at least two more films that will count this month.

Yeah, I'm takin my usual two-week vacation with the family. I think I leave Sunday. I haven't actually been on The Board recently though. Had a lot of work to do with finals and the such. But I got all A's, so hopefully while I'm at the beach I can relax and catch up on some books and movies.

I just got back from a week of hellish Annual Training for the Guard and immediatly after that (literally) the wife and I moved into a new place. Talk about a sucky 10 days!
Frankenjohn, you're probably gone already, but you should try to get online and send me your vampire movie list!

Well, thought I should come here first before going back through the board to post on what I missed to let you know I'm back, and mostly safe and sound. When I woke up this morning, I had an intense stomach pain that made any kind of stretching or moving around either impossible or just an adventure. LUckily, I've taken some Advil and it's a little better, but it just happened in the morning. Don't worry, I'm fine, maybe just being back in my normal posting routine will help me out and get a little better.

Well, some sad news folks. I got home last night to hear that my grandmother, whom I just visited a few weeks ago on vacation, died during the week and I just found out about it. I don't know much about it, but apparently they're doing the services on Friday so I'm going back out to attend it. I most likely will be back on Monday again so I can help my family get over it for a few days, but no garauntees about it. Hope you all have a good time and I'll see you all when I can.

Thank you both, it was indeed pretty sad but I'm back, for now.
It turns out that she ended up having a heart attack on Tuesday morning and was rushed to the hospital by a neighbor who heard her collapse, although on route they ended up being struck by another car and she died from the impact of that since it was on the passenger side. The neighbor just has a few cuts from the glass and some muscle soreness but is otherwise okay, considering she died in his arms so to speak. So, even though it happened Tuesday morning, I didn't get the call until Wednesday night, with the funeral services taking place on Friday (no traditional funeral, just a church service followed by a reception afterward) but I stayed there to help out and got back last night.

So sorry to hear that. My dad was killed in a car wreck a few years ago and it was really hard to get through. It's never easy to lose someone, but when it happens so suddenly like that it just makes it even harder.
