If you had to single out a favorite Seinfeld character, who would yours be? I would have to pick Cosmo Kramer. Michael Richards plays the role to perfection, he's in your face comedy. Without Richards playing the role of Kramer, I seriously don't think the show would have lasted 9 years. I also liked J. Peterman. He was my second favorite supporting actor right behind Newman.

George. His constant neuroses about everything in life never failed to crack me up! Kramer was good for physical humor, but it's all the various character's quirks & neuroses, especially George, that really made me a loyal fan. Can't wait for the upcoming DVD sets! ;D

Yeah well I gotta go for Jerry.
To me he is what kept the show tickin'...
He was the one you could identify with, we all have crazy friends... nuerotic friends... evil neighbours etc...

It's a difficult choice among the main four characters so, to balance things out, I voted for Elaine.
One of them missing there though and I don't think I'd like the series as much as I do now.

I saw an advertisement for the DVDs. Does anyone know if it's being released by Season, or will it be compilation sets of the best episodes.

Good news, SEINFELD fans! From IMDB: The stars of defunct sitcom Seinfeld are set to reunite for a TV special. Jerry Seinfeld and the rest of the cast, including Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Jason Alexander and Michael Richards, will return to American TV network NBC for a retrospective of the Emmy-winning show. During the special, which will air in America on November 25, old clips from the comedy will be revisited and the stars will be interviewed. Seinfeld will serve as host of the special.
I'm not much of a fan of "reunion" shows, but I'm a sucker for anything "SEINFELD". It'll be great to see the cast together again.

I love all the characters for what they are, but you can't beat George! Seriously, all the agony and rejection he goes through, to me he is the base of all that went on in Seinfeld. "I'm a great quitter. I come from a long line of quitters. I was raised to give up."
But you gotta love his father Frank, KRUGER!! YOU COULDN'T SMOOTH A SILK SHEET WITH A HOT DATE...........Sorry, I lost my chain of thought.
I mean the things that would come out of that guy's mouth were amazing, classic stuff. The nightmare of a father that you could ever hope for!

I went with George, even though it's kind of a tie with Jerry. Why? Because, aside from the baldness and chubbiness, I am the real-life George Costanza. I swear, no one else has the putrid-luck streaks that I've had to endure these last couple years. Criminy. (don't get me started)

Although I love Elaine, and have often been compared to her, I'd have to go with Jerry. He's one of the greatest t.v characters ever. This is a tough choice though...all the characters were top-notch.
