Is it good news or not?
Creature Corner reports that Jim Dudelson and Taurus Entertainment, having exploited their ownership of the rights to one George Romero title with the recently wrapped DAY OF THE DEAD: CONTAGIUM, are now pursuing another: The producer/director is said to be eyeing CREEPSHOW 3 as his next project. No doubt the movie will be another anthology, though it seems unlikely Dudelson and co. will pursue the possibility of adapting more Stephen King tales; the filmmaker had previously mulled the idea of an animated CREEPSHOW movie, but now seems to be aiming for a live-action production.

It would be cool if they actually did do an animated version.

I wouldn't care too much for an animated version. I would rather have it like the first 2 films. But if this news is true then I sure hope that Creepshow 3 would be better than the awful part 2.

Hey, RIP - didn't you even like The Raft episode from Creepshow 2? This one was pretty good in my opinion - suspense, gore, a cheap moster... all there!

Lately on one message board (HorrorSpeak, I think) people were choosing their favourite stories from both Creepshow movies - and The Raft won hands down. Which doesn't mean you can't like the Indian episode better, of course.

You mean to tell me that people chose the Raft scene in Creepshow 2 over the episdoes in Creepshow one like the one with the Tazmanian devil in the crate or the first episode of Creepshow where the dead father comes back to life and wants his cake back? What kind of message board is HS? ;D I'm just kidding of course.

The Raft is about the only one I remember from either movie, it's been forever since I watched them. Oh, & the episode that Stephen King was in, something about a meteor or something crashes in his yard & by the end he ends up covered w/ grass or something. I dunno...

I thought part two was ok.
Especially with the thing in the lake, and the hitch hiker who kept saying "Thanks for the ride lady"

Creepshow was, IMHO, the greatest anthology of all time. I even liked Creepshow 2. But if George Romero and Stephen King are not going to be involved with Creepshow 3, then I don't hold out much hope for it.
