From Yahoo News: "Michael Madsen and Vincent Perez will join Parker Posey and Adam Goldberg in the USA series pilot "Frankenstein." Skein centers on the unraveling of the myth of Frankenstein through a seemingly standard homicide investigation. USA greenlit production on "Frankenstein" in January, ordering a two-hour pilot and four scripts. Exec producers are Martin Scorsese , author Dean Koontz and Flame TV topper Tony Krantz. Marcus Nispel (Texas Chainsaw Massacre) is set to direct from a script by Koontz. " Sounds cool! I guess someone finally decided to do a "horror" series about something besides vampires!

Yeah, but... well, does it have to be Frankenstein? Why this? I'm glad to see the names of Dean R. Koontz and Martin Scorsese and Mikey Madsen and - let's not forget this underrated girl - Parker Posey all involved in it, but I always thought that the legend of this particular monster is the least interesting of all.
Will I watch it, though? Don't you doubt it!

You bet your ass I'll be watching! ;D With a different t-shirt for every episode...
This was the first I'd heard of this too. It will be nice to see a genre series that's something besides vampires like I said. I have nothing against the vampire series' of course, but it's nice to have something different every once in awhile. As long as it's done well that is...
