Did we really need to sit around for over a minute staring at a guy aiming a gun at a cop before he pulls the trigger. I thought my dvd broke at that point. Yeah, well - I thought so, too. But I didn't mind, really - a nice, strange moment there. Overall I quite liked the film: and if the screenplay is a bit of a mess, which it sure is, it somehow adds to the undergroundish feel of it all. Plus, this makes it pretty unpredictable. On the other hand - the movie's NOT scary at all; fun - yeah, real horror - no, thankyou! And can I please join the Captain Spaulding Appreciation Club?

Yeah, Spaulding was the better part of the movie. I agree, it's not real horror but it's really fun to watch.

Yeah, um, I think I missed this in bitching about the movie's shallowness and luke-warmedness. And non-scariness. It was a lot of fun to watch.
And I liked the "wait forever to shoot the copper" shot. It was about the only moment with any amount of tension in it.
